PROFORTIL® is a study-proven and patented formula to improve male fertility. It helps to optimize sperm quality in men who wish to father a child and have impaired fertility.

The study-proven formulation of PROFORTIL® is suitable for men with impaired fertility. We ask you to clarify with your doctor whether PROFORTIL® is recommended in your case. PROFORTIL® might be also an option when preparing for IVF-treatment.

The specific and study-proven composition of PROFORTIL® specifically covers the increased micronutrient requirements of men with fertility disorders.

PROFORTIL® should be taken in preparation for or during IVF treatment to increase the chances of a successful pregnancy.

The effectiveness of the patented PROFORTIL® formulation has been confirmed in 6 clinical studies. PROFORTIL® can improve all semen parameters (e.g. sperm count, motility, normal shape). In addition, PROFORTIL® can also reduce DNA breaks in sperm. Thus, PROFORTIL® can increase the chance of successful conception.

Clinical studies have shown that PROFORTIL® can improve all sperm parameters relevant for conception. This includes sperm count, sperm motility (= motility) and sperm shape (= morphology). In addition, a reduction in the proportion of sperm cells with “fragmented” DNA was shown.

Take 2 capsules of PROFERTIL^® daily with some liquid with or after a meal. Both capsules can be taken at the same time. If you have any further questions about consumption, please contact your doctor.

It is recommended to take two capsules daily with or after a meal and together with some liquid. It is also possible to take both capsules at the same time. However, the daily dose of two capsules should not be exceeded.

Since a complete sperm development (= spermatogenesis) takes about 3 months, an improvement of sperm parameters is likely within this time by taking PROFORTIL®. This was also shown in the clinical studies on PROFORTIL®. The intake of PROFORTIL® is recommended until the desired pregnancy occurs.

If you forget to take PROFORTIL®, please make up for it by the next possible time. However, do not take twice the amount of PROFORTIL® if you have forgotten to take it before. The daily dosage of two capsules should not be exceeded.

Continue to take PROFORTIL® as usual. If you stop taking PROFORTIL® for a long period of time, the effect may be reduced.

You are welcome to open the PROFORTIL® capsules and take the powder without the capsule shell, as it does not contain any active substances. In case of swallowing difficulties, we recommend taking the powder preferably with some yogurt on a spoon, as it is not water soluble.

No side effects were observed in the clinical studies of PROFORTIL®. In addition, PROFORTIL® contains no allergens and is well tolerated.

Yes, they are “veggi-caps”. The PROFORTIL® capsule material is made of cellulose and the capsules are free of animal ingredients. None of the ingredients come from animals.

PROFORTIL® is considered gluten-free because it is below a level of 20 mg/kg gluten. It can therefore be taken even in cases of celiac disease.

PROFORTIL® is a halal-certified product. 

PROFORTIL® is free of any recognized food allergens (cereals containing gluten, shellfish, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, milk and derived products such as lactose, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, Sulphur dioxide and sulphites, lupine) and is also free of GMO (genetic modified organisms). In clinical studies no allergic reactions were observed. The capsule shell is made from cellulose does not contain any substances derived from animal ingredients. Anyways, PROFORTIL® should be used under medical supervision.

Yes, PROFORTIL® is free of lactose.

PROFORTIL® is a hormone-free product.

No, PROFORTIL® is a dietary food for special medical purposes and therefore does not require a prescription. However, it should be taken under medical supervision. Before taking PROFORTIL® for the first time and in case of changes in intake, consultation with your doctor is required.

So far, there are no known interactions when taking PROFORTIL® with other medicines. If you are taking medicines that limit fertility, it is essential to consult your doctor (e.g. antidepressants, immunosuppressants, cardiac medicines, anti-epileptics, cytostatics).

PROFORTIL® was developed specifically to support male fertility in those who wish to have children. The synergistic effect of the patented product composition is clinically proven. Therefore, it is not necessary to take additional supplements to improve the chances of a successful pregnancy.

Studies have shown that taking PROFORTIL® can increase ejaculate volume (more sperm).

Since azoospermia often has an organic cause, PROFORTIL® is usually not a suitable solution. However, in any case it is important to consult a urologist to find out the specific reason (obstructive or non-obstructive) and consequently determine the best treatment for it.

In case of non-obstructive azoospermia, PROFORTIL® may be a supportive treatment in the context of IVF treatment (e.g. TESE). We kindly ask you to clarify this with your treating physician.

Extensive studies indicate a connection between repeated miscarriages and increased DNA fragmentation in sperm cells. These are breaks in the DNA strand of the sperm. In the case of repeated miscarriages or idiopathic infertility (= infertility for no apparent reason), clarification of DNA breaks is therefore recommended. Especially in men over 35 years of age, the risk of a significant amount of fragmented sperm DNA is increased.

Two clinical studies have shown that PROFORTIL® can reduce the proportion of sperm cells with breaks in the DNA strand.

Studies have shown that taking PROFORTIL® often reduces sperm count to a normal density. It is assumed that the micronutrients contained in PROFORTIL® can positively influence the self-regulation of sperm production.
